Redemptive Infertility with Jenna Bieber
Jenna Bieber is a 28-year-old follower of Jesus daring to trust in His promises in the midst of infertility. She is a worship leader, educator, writer/blogger, and Chapstick addict. She and her husband Brian live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with their precious cat Sir Pepperton.
Jenna and Brian were married in 2013 right after graduating from college. Like most couples, they had a plan. Having children wasn’t a matter of if, but a matter of when.
After about five years of marriage, they were “ready.” And so they did what married couples do, and they waited. And waited. And waited. And nothing happened.
After over 14 months of testing, heartache, and disappointment, they finally learned that Brian had a genetic mutation such that they would not be able to conceive naturally.
Through this time, God has shown Jenna and Brian so much of His kindness and goodness. He takes the broken pieces and makes something new and beautiful.
Jenna and Brian are now in the middle of the beautiful, messy, and incredibly redemptive process of adopting embryos with the hope of expanding their family and giving birth to their adopted children. They are so excited about the story that God is writing, and they can’t wait to see how He works for their good and His glory.
