Episode 21 // The Valley with Jessica Satterfield
Jessica has seen the goodness of God in the midst of the heartbreak of infertility and the joys of adoption. Her life has been one with lots of hard, but it’s been in the invitation found in the hard, where she has found deep intimacy with the Father. She is madly in love with Jesus and passionate about empowering mothers to walk in their identity as daughters, as they raise up a generation of warriors for the Kingdom. She is a stay at home mama by day and writer/blogger by night. She lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her life crush, Brandon, and their two heart grown children, Selah and Micah. She is also called “mama” by her spunky nine year old foster son. She is hungry for more of the Father and goes after deeper places in His heart with other women through her online community. She is the founder of a ministry called The Garden, that connects women on the broken road to motherhood, walking through infertility, miscarriage, infant loss, and adoption to healing and wholeness. Jessica’s writing was published in Adopted for Daily Life: A Devotional for Adopting Moms but is most known for her popular blog, Grace While We Wait. She speaks to women all over the country about the intimacy she has found in the heart of her Father, but how that intimacy is also available to them.
